Michael is passionate about helping patients get out of pain and get moving again. He will work with you to address your concerns with an approach that suits both your preferences and your condition. In addition to being a qualified chiropractor, Michael is a qualified acupuncturist and remedial therapist and has certifications in dry needling, various forms of corrective exercise, rehabilitation and human movements disciplines.
Michael thrives on complex cases, including disc injuries, degenerative type conditions, general musculoskeletal complaints and sporting injuries. Michael is just as happy treating people who are feeling a bit stiff and ‘jammed up’ and ‘want a tune up’ to help them move well again!
Outside of the clinic Michael has previously competed nationally and internationally in various martial arts styles (having held Qld, NSW & AUS titles in the 90s). He has played grade rugby, boxed competitively, power lifted, weight lifted and cross fitted, he has taught martial arts and helped coach professional fighters and currently trains with Queensland Kettlebells.
This background in physically demanding sports has given Michael a unique (and often first hand) insight into injury management. Michael is often called upon to provide care for elite level athletes, and not just the “weekend warrior”!
Michael is here to help all our community people to be supple, strong & pain-free!

Dr. Luke Banch is a passionate chiropractor, dedicated family man, and proud Ipswich local. As a father of five energetic and creative kids (three girls, two boys - yes, it’s a full house!), so he knows a thing or two about keeping up with life’s demands. You might spot him around town, at school events, on the sidelines of a footy match, or chasing his little crew along the sunny Queensland coast.
Dr. Luke’s chiropractic journey started as a teenager when a life-changing adjustment blew his mind (and not in a bad way!). Inspired by the incredible impact chiropractic care had on him and his family, he set out on a mission to help others experience the same. He earned a double degree in Chiropractic and Chiropractic Science from Murdoch University (Class of 2010) and holds a Bachelor of Science from La Trobe University (2005). Never one to stop learning, he’s completed postgraduate training in Activator technique, pediatric care, scoliosis management, sports chiropractic, Syntropy, ABC, and S.O.T. - a gentle, low-force chiropractic technique.
Since joining Bremer Chiropractic in 2012, Dr. Luke has been on a relentless quest to fine-tune his skills and provide top-tier care to his patients. He’s adjusted everyone from newborns just two days old to sprightly 96-year-olds, proving that chiropractic is for all ages! His special interests include caring for pregnant women, athletes, and young families, with a keen focus scoliosis.
When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll find Dr. Luke enjoying a well-earned coffee, getting his hands dirty in the garden, or passionately debating footy (rumor has it, he’s an unshakable Gold Coast Suns fan). He’s known for his high-energy adjustments, an easygoing nature, and a good laugh - so don’t be surprised if your appointment comes with a side of humor!

Born and raised in New Zealand, I completed my Chiropractic degree at the New Zealand Chiropractic College (NZCC).
Being naturally caring and hands-on, I’m always looking for meaningful ways to support those around me. I value hard work, enjoy a good laugh, and approach everything I do with a grounded, open-hearted mindset. Building trust and helping people feel truly seen and supported is at the core of who I am.
My favorite techniques are Diversified and really enjoy using Thompson, Activator and a little bit of SOT.
I look forward to working with people of all ages from our little babies to our lovely older generation.
